Punjab Shooting ball Association was formed in 1978 to promote Shooting ball game in Punjab. later Sh. Kaur Singh Sandhu elected as Secretary and Sh. Janinder Jain as President.
Punjab shooting ball Association was not regularly participating in National Championship, not submitting their Annual subscription to Shooting ball federation of India. SBFI issued show cause notice to the Secretary Punjab Shooting ball Association on dated 22/09/2018, 31/01/2019 but no reply submitted by the Secretary Punjab Shooting ball Association and also found involved in anti federation activities.
Shooting ball Federation of India dis affiliate Punjab Shooting ball Association on dated 09.03.2019 and appoint a prominent Shooting ball player Surjeet Singh as convener of Punjab Shooting Ball Association.
New election of Punjab Shooting ball Association in the presence SBFI observer take place at Bhangal Abohar on dated 27.07.2019 and elected Sujeet Singh as Secretary and Gurpreet Singh as President. Ex Secretary refuse to provide association related papers The house of Punjab Shooting ball Association unanimously passed a resolution to form new association. new Association namely Shooting ball Association , Punjab with Registration number 095/2021-22 dated 06.07.2021 formed and get affiliation to Shooting ball Federation of India.
Next election was held on 24.06.2023 at Muktsar sahib and Bhai Rasbeer Singh elected as President and Surjeet Singh as Secretary.
